The Innovate BC Ignite program, a research grant aimed to accelerate commercializing academic research and industry projects, is accepting applications for up to $300,000.

The funding focuses on natural resources, engineering and applied sciences. The grant is awarded to those who can come together to solve a significant challenge that British Columbians face. 

Innovate BC’s Ignite program has awarded funding to more than 30 projects for a total value of $8.5 million. Previous winning projects have ranged from cleantech to mining to forestry; the possibilities are endless. 

Applications are open until July 4, 2022.
