Almost a decade has passed since the last TEDx conference in Victoria. Our community has changed and grown in so many ways, TEDx gives us the opportunity to explore the unique challenges and possibilities of this city with fresh perspective. We’re long overdue for imaginative problem-solving, celebrating the ingenuity in Victoria, and thinking about our future.

It’s our goal with TEDxVictoria to bring together local experts, community organizations, entrepreneurs, start-ups and established businesses, and passionate individuals. With so many bright ideas in one room, we can turn discovery and shared knowledge into action.

What is TEDx?

TEDx is a grassroots initiative that brings the spirit of TED to communities around the globe. In the spirit of TED’s mission to “discover ideas worth spreading,” these events shine a spotlight on original ideas and the latest research to spark conversations in their communities.

TEDx events

TEDx events are run under the program guidelines and licensing of TED, but they are all independent and self-organized by volunteer individuals who are passionate about what bringing people and ideas together can accomplish.
