VICTORIA, BC (September 24, 2021) - The Victoria Innovation, Advanced Technology and Entrepreneurship Council (VIATEC) held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually and in-person yesterday, with a record setting number of votes.

VIATEC thanks everyone who ran and congratulates those who were newly elected and re-elected. 

The 2021-2022 VIATEC Board of Directors are:

8. Sachen Macdonald, Checkfront (Newly Elected)

“VIATEC has long enjoyed significant interest in our annual board elections and this year not only carried on that tradition, but I think it was even more impressive due to the diversity and quality of the candidates,” said Dan Gunn, VIATEC’s CEO. “Our next board is one of the most experienced we have enjoyed in a long time, representing an impressive cross section of our sub-sectors and some of our strongest companies. It must have been very tough for each of our voting members to choose from the great roster that came forward.”
