WikiSleep has been selected as one of 40 BC startups to advance to the second round of the New Ventures BC 2026 competition.
"With over 275 companies applying, it's an honour to be chosen as one of BC's high-potential companies in this awesome competition," said WikiSleep founder, Adrien Sala. "Still a long way to go, but I am excited by the opportunity to showcase WikiSleep and our unique approach to sleep support."
The New Ventures BC Competition is a six-month startup competition designed to help early-stage companies in British Columbia refine their business, gain exposure, and connect with mentors and investors, with over $250,000 in cash and prizes awarded to top teams. The competition runs through multiple rounds—from an initial idea submission to feasibility analysis, mentorship-supported venture planning, and final pitch presentations—gradually narrowing a pool of 200+ startups down to a top 10. Along the way, participants receive structured feedback, access to workshops and networking, and increasing visibility within the BC tech ecosystem, making it both a competitive process and a high-value growth program for emerging startups.
