A multi-day hackathon bringing software builders and the Victoria Cool Aid Society together to create AI tools for homelessness, addiction recovery, and community support.
Monday April 20 is kickoff night with speakers and challenge track presentations.
Friday April 25 is demo and awards night where teams present working prototypes to judges.
Open to developers, designers, data scientists, social workers, and anyone who wants to build solutions for real community problems. Our March healthcare hackathon produced working prototypes, with a UVic professor now pursuing NSERC/CIHR grants with winning teams. Our February Arena Operations Hackathon produced a paid contract for attendees as well.
