Description
When hiring, the interview process is when we get to evaluate our future employees, but it is also the part of the hiring process when many of our biases emerge. Learn how to make the first impression as an inclusive working environment for promising recruits.
In Part 2 of our Hiring Process series you will learn what to do to control your biases while also learning how to create an inclusive first impression for potential new employees. Written materials and tools will be provided.
We've partnered with Leah Shumka, Manager of Sexualized Violence Education, Prevention and Support at the faculty of Equity and Human Rights, UVic to explore DEI in an interactive format with actionable next steps.
Please take the time to share your questions with us as part of the registration process so that we can make this session as applicable and actionable as possible.
We want to make this session as accessible as possible and continue this work in our community. All ticket sales directly fund the continuation of our DEI education offerings.
