Description
Funding and Investments
Raising capital can feel like navigating a maze of jargon, expectations, and high-stakes negotiations. This roundtable is designed to strip away the mystery and create a space where CEOs and founders can explore what really happens during fundraising conversations - across term sheets, valuations, governance structures, and more.
Led by Graham Day, startup advisor and investor, this session will combine market insight with open peer discussion. You’ll walk away with a clearer understanding of the current fundraising landscape and how other leaders are handling the pressure, trade-offs, and legal complexity involved.
Graham will cover:
- Understanding when and why to pursue outside equity investment
- Current fundraising trends and what they mean for your next round
- Key deal terms explained – including valuation, boards, SAFEs vs. convertibles, & legal fees
Session will be followed by a Peer-led discussion on real-world investor negotiations, challenges, and creative solutions.
